Franz Rembart is a Principal at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he focuses on digitization and data science topics in Financial Services & Insurance, and the Public/Social Impact Sector. His academic research interests include random tree growth processes, operations on continuum random trees and related fields. An illustrative example of his work would be “Recursive construction of continuum random trees,” with Matthias Winkel, The Annals of Probability 2018/19. Franz received his PhD in Applied Probability Theory & Statistics from the University of Oxford in 2016. During his studies, he was a Stipendiary Lecturer at the renowned Christ Church, Oxford. He holds a Masters’ degree in Mathematical Finance and Actuarial Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (both with a minor in Economics) from the Technical University Munich.
