The Department of Statistics hires tutors for the undergraduate Help-room, and undergraduate graders for Statistics classes.

If interested, please send a copy of your transcript in a brief email expressing interest in either or both opportunities to the Director of Academic Administration and Finance, Jack Tomaselli, at [email protected]. Students seeking a position in the Help-room should also indicate the days and times of their availability, the course(s) they feel comfortable tutoring for, and the total number of hours they could be available per week.

Wages are $23/hour for the 2025 – 2026 Academic Year. 

Hires are made on a rolling basis and applications are accepted up to 3 weeks prior to the beginning of the semester.
