Dr. Genevera Allen has been named an IMS fellow.

Congratulations to Dr. Allen for being named an Institute of Mathematical Statistics Fellow. Dr. Allen is a broadly recognized statistician at the interface of Statistics and Machine Learning. Her scholarly innovation, path-breaking leadership, and unwavering dedication to her students and trainees have created remarkable impacts. She actively leverages her professional visibility to enhance the stature and recognition of Statistics across various sectors, ranging from industry to government. Dr. Allen is currently a visiting professor in our department. The department is excited to welcome her when she officially joins our department as a Professor of Statistics on July 1st, 2024.
