The Department of Statistics at Columbia University invites applications for an Assistant Professor position, commencing Fall 2009. A PhD in statistics or a related field and commitment to high quality research and teaching in statistics and/or probability are required. The department currently consists of 20 faculty members, 35 PhD students, and over 100 MS students.
